Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you use calp.training or buy a CALP course. By signing up, trying a course or paying, you agree to them. If a child is learning, the parent or guardian agrees for the child.
ETmantra eLearning Solutions Pvt Ltd (“CALP”, “we”, “us”), 7 Panchvati, Shyam Nagar, Bodla Road, Shahganj, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282010, India. GSTIN 09AAECE5474H1ZE.
What CALP is
CALP (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiency) offers online English courses for school classes: video lessons, notes, practice activities and speaking practice with automatic feedback. CALP is an independent project. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected to NCERT or any board. NCERT textbooks and their text belong to NCERT. Our videos, notes, questions and activities are ours.
Accounts
- Give true details and keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
- One account is for one learner. Please do not share it.
- A parent or guardian must create and pay for the account of a child under 18.
Free trial
A free trial opens the first lessons and their practice for a limited time or use, without payment. We may limit practice that uses AI, and we may end a trial that is abused.
Buying a course
- The price shown on the course page, in Indian rupees, is what you pay. It includes GST unless it says otherwise. A GST invoice is issued for every payment.
- A course is a one-time payment for access for 12 months from the day you enrol, unless the page says otherwise. It does not renew by itself.
- Payment is taken by a payment gateway. Your order is confirmed when the payment succeeds.
- We may change prices at any time. A change does not affect a course you have already bought.
- Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy, and access in our Delivery Policy.
What you may do with the content
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch and use the course for the learner’s own study. You may not copy, download, re-record, sell, share, post or publish the videos, notes or activities, or use them to teach others for a fee. Using CALP in a school or tuition class needs our written permission. Write to us and we will help.
Fair use
Do not try to break, overload or copy the service, share abusive or unlawful content, or use another person’s account. We may suspend an account that does, and the Refund Policy then does not apply.
AI practice and results
Feedback on speaking and writing is produced by software. It is a guide to help practice and can be wrong. We do not promise marks, grades or fluency. Results depend on the learner’s effort.
Our responsibility
We work to keep calp.training available and correct, but it is provided as it is, and it may be down for repairs or for reasons outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Ending access
You may stop using CALP at any time. We may end access for breaking these terms. When a course period ends, access to that course ends.
Law and disputes
Indian law applies. Please write to us first so we can fix a problem. Courts at Agra, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction, subject to any right you have under consumer law to approach a consumer forum.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will put the new date here. Using CALP after a change means you accept it. Questions: [email protected], +91-8630656449. Last updated 4 November 2026.
